WHAT IS A COACH

A SUN Success Coach guides you to increase personal awareness and responsibility for your choices so you can tap into your own answers and inner wisdom. All Success Coaches integrate spirituality into their coaching.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT

The SUN coach training and certification program is intentionally designed to be a five month program with eight meetings lasting about two hours each and 2-3 weeks in between meetings. Different coaches may vary the format and structure depending upon the client's circumstances, preferences and desired results. Although it began exclusively as a face-to-face program and is still mostly offered in person, phone coaching and cybercoaching are also available.

WHAT MAKES US UNIQUE

· Learning your Life Purpose is the first meeting and serves as the foundation for the whole program. Life purpose sources visions and choices/goals in all life areas. Clients develop the habit of living more consistently on purpose by using the Results Game - a tracking system for purposefulness. The Well-Being Game introduces clients to a simple process for monitoring fulfillment and satisfaction. Clients develop their own Guidelines for Living by reflecting on questions that bring maximal learning from life experiences.

· The SUN program derives its techniques from Sports Psychology and Management Training and can be applied to all life areas; therefore specialty niches are less important in matching clients to coaches. All SUN Coaches bring a spiritual foundation to their coaching businesses.

· Originating in London in 1981 by the British Company, Results Unlimited, the SUN program was brought to the U.S. by Teri-E Belf, M.C.C. in 1987.
